How to Test

Bayer’s CONTOUR^® USB meter features simple, smooth testing with Bayer’s CONTOUR^® test strips and the MICROLET^®2 lancing device.

BEFORE YOU TEST, have these and other testing materials ready. You may also need Bayer’s CONTOUR^® control solution to run a quality control check. Then you’ll be ready to test.

5. Result Displayed

Your test result is displayed in large numbers for 2 seconds before changing to the normal test result screen.
If your blood sugar reading is under 3.9 mmol/L, the following screen will alert you that your blood sugar is low. You can change the default setting using Bayer’s GLUCOFACTS^® DELUXE.
If your blood sugar reading is over 13.9 mmol/L, the following screen will alert you that your blood sugar is high. You can change the default setting using Bayer’s GLUCOFACTS^® DELUXE.
